step 01: Inquire to Book Your Session

Before we can make any magic happen we have to get you on the books. Fill out the inquiry form to express your interest. This gets the ball rolling. We will coordinate dates and once we have a date set, your 50% non-refundable deposit is due along with your signed contract to secure your date on my calendar. Once all has been received, you’re officially booked and we can proceed with the exciting steps.

step 02: Planning Consultation

Once you are booked we can start planning all the details. I’ll email you a questionnaire that will help me get to know you a little better and so you can share your vision with me for your shoot. The email will have a link to schedule your virtual consultation so we can start planning your customized shoot and discuss outfits, locations, themes, etc. The prep guide that you will also receive will give you tips on how to prepare for your session so you will be ready in every aspect. My hope is for you to leave the meeting totally confident and excited about your experience. I’ll share all of my expertise with you so your shoot will be FABULOUS!

step 03: The Photoshoot

It’s SHOWTIME! All of that collaboration we did is for this exciting moment. We’ll meet at the location we've decided on and start capturing memories. Don’t worry if you feel nervous, I’ll make sure you feel confident every step of the way. We’ll spend our time getting the perfect shots with plenty of different poses and backgrounds so you end up with a variety of images. The best part for me is the laughs that we will share. I love capturing “bloopers” with clients because even the most serious occasions come with some laughs. Come ready to have a great time.

step 04 : Image reveal

It’s time for the unveiling of your images. You will receive a link to your online gallery. Your gallery gives you access to the digital files where you will be able to download and share your images on social media right away. You will also be able to purchase prints and/products right from the comfort of your own home.

I think printing your images to display is so important! This season of your life is a special one, and it deserves to be remembered and celebrated. You will be able to order prints, wall art, albums, and various types of cards right from your gallery.

How early should I book my session?

I recommend booking your session at least three to four months in advance. Because I also photograph seniors, availability can fill up quickly.

What if I want a styled indoor/studio shoot?

We can absolutely make this happen for you! We will work together to find a suitable indoor location/studio to suit your vision. But because I am an on-location outdoor photographer, the rental fee and any other applicable fees for the space will be added to your package cost. 

I recommend https://www.peerspace.com/ as a good starting point to get some ideas.

When are you available?

Shoots take place on Saturday and Sunday evenings approximately two hours before the sun sets (Golden Hour).  Also, temperatures are usually favorable around this time.

Do I need to find my own locations?

Nope! We will collaborate to find the perfect locations that complement your outfits, personality, and occasion. 

What should I wear?

We’ll collaborate to select the best outfits to reflect your style and personality. You’ll also receive a Style & Prep Guide that will give you all the tea on how to look your best.

Can I order prints, albums, and products directly from you?

Absolutely! You will be able to order prints and products directly from your gallery.

Will you retouch my photos?

Yes! Your best images will be edited to make you look as natural and true to yourself as possible. 

How long does it take to receive the images from my session? 

You can expect to receive your gallery approximately 2 to 3 weeks after your session.

When is payment due?

To reserve a date with LaToya Jyadon Photography, a 50% non-refundable retainer is due along with the signed contract in order to secure your date. The remaining 50% plus any relevant travel fees (if applicable) are due FOUR (4) weeks before your session date. All paperwork and payments can be done online for your convenience!

What if I'm really uncomfortable in front of the camera?

I'm here to guide you. I can promise you that everyone feels nervous at first, but they feel relaxed as the session progresses. My posing style is very natural, but I will guide you as you need it. In my experience, once clients feel comfortable, they usually take over the show!
